8mm Phenolic Thermal Intake Spacers for 1993-1997  V6

 Our phenolic spacers are made from CNC'd Phenolic composite for its strength, chemical resistance and thermal properties / high heat resistance.

Please Note: Recommended to be used with new OEM gasket set. Gasket required to be placed on each side of each spacer.

Instructions for intake phenolic spacers 1993-1997 V6

Uninstall intake manifold enough to give access.

 Remove studs with the two nut method

 Install new studs using the less thread portion which will go into the cylinder head

 Clean mounting surface of intake manifold and cylinder head.

Place new intake manifold gaskets on the cylinder heads than install the phenolic spacers then install the second intake manifold gaskets on top of the phenolic spacer

  Reinstall intake manifold using the new bolts and nuts.

 Torque to OEM specs using a crossed X pattern to tighten.

*Note, If ordering without hardware, hardware required is studs 8mm x 1.25 x 40mm/ 8mm x 1.25 nuts and the bolts 8mm x 1.25 x 45mm.
